Our Diversity Policy


PTCS is proud to provide services which champion diversity and which promote equality of opportunity for all – for us diversity is simply good business.  We ensure that our policy is embedded in our interactions with all our customers, people and suppliers.  We aim to meet, indeed exceed, the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 in all that we do.


We demonstrate our commitment by:


promoting equality of opportunity and diversity within the communities in which we work and with all our partners and workforce

valuing difference and treating our customers, people and suppliers fairly and with respect


promoting an environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment, and tackling behaviour which breaches this


ensuring our products and services are accessible to all of our customers irrespective of need


recognising and valuing the differences and individual contribution that people make


providing support and encouragement to our people to develop their careers and increase their contribution to the organisation through the enhancement of their skills and abilities


exceeding legislative requirements and best practice in all our service delivery and with our people and suppliers, and supporting these with appropriate training and guidance.


Every person working for us has a personal responsibility for implementing and promoting these principles in their day-to-day dealings with customers, with each other and with suppliers.  Inappropriate behaviour is not accepted.


We will measure and report on the effectiveness of our service delivery and employee policies and processes in relation to these principles, by building performance monitoring and management information requirements into policy and product development.  This information will be used to inform future policy and to enhance business processes. 


We will conduct an annual self-evaluation of our progress in implementing this policy and update it where required (next review April 2021).
