RECENT PROJECTS

PROJECT //  02 ANTI CORRUPTION

PTCS was privileged to work with the Jamaican Constabulary Force (JCF) with its work on anti corruption.

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is the police force of the island nation of Jamaica.  The JCF is responsible for the maintenance of law and order, the prevention and detection of crime, the investigation of alleged crimes, the protection of life and property and the enforcement of all criminal laws as defined by the Jamaican penal code.

The strategic vision of the Jamaica Constabulary is to become a high quality professional service that is valued and trusted by all the citizens of Jamaica and to that end PTCS was invited to work with the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) and the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Task Force (MOCA TF).

A learning programme for officers was developed and delivered on the island by our team covering strategic international anti corruption.

Topics discussed in the programme included international perspectives on corruption and anti-corruption, the strategic implementation of new initiatives for governance, cultural change and communication and strategic thinking and planning for the future.

Working with well informed and committed officers, PTCS's work was instrumental in laying the foundation for the merger of ACB and MOCA into the Major Organised Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency in August 2014.
